Jim moved from North Central Montana to Spokane in 1972, attracted by the beauty of the area and friendly people. He has chosen to develop a broad influence in the Community since he began in Financial Planning and Real Estate in late 1978. He enjoys helping people make good decisions with the skills he has developed in his 40 years of experience in investments, developing and real estate brokerage. Jim is owner of a development company and has been a general partner of a number of partnerships over the years. He serves as the Development Director at Windermere North, LLC and also helped establish Northwest Christian Schools Foundation where he served 14 years as the Vice President.

Jim's creative thinking allows him to 'think outside the box" and uses this skill when working and planning alternatives for accomplishing his clients' desired goals in areas of real estate and financial objectives. He is a great resource in solving financial or business problems and his years in developing land for residential sub-divisions and new construction has positioned him to work with middle to upper income clients. Jim has also developed multi-generational housing and understands the importance in housing design that allow aging in place as a benefit to a homeowner.

Jim and his beloved wife Donna have been happily married for 42 years. Together they have two children and 9 grandchildren. Jim loves the outdoors and enjoys photography and kicking dirt. He likes to mentor others and currently has one of his grandsons as a Development Director trainee. Andrew's Landing at Upriver.  Jim is always ready to discuss the  use of a person's property and how to best accomplish an owner's desired objective.  Having a  clear objective makes for a better decision making through the process.

Jim is a member of Faith Bible Church and has volunteered for 28 years on various boards at Northwest Christian Schools. He is currently an Elder at Faith Bible Church, original board member of "The Way of Business".
